WRAP Quality Protocol

The Waste and Recycling Action Program (WRAP) helps individuals, businesses and local authorities to reduce waste and recycle more, making better use of resources and helping to tackle climate change. More detail on WRAP can be found at http://www.wrap.org.uk.

WRAP has produced a Quality Protocol format for industry guidance during the production of recycled aggregate from waste. Sivyer have accepted and adhere strictly to this protocol at our aggregate recycling facility at Victoria Deep Water Terminal (North Greenwich). This ensures that all waste is received, processed, stockpiled, tested and supplied as recycled aggregate through a visible and accountable structure, which can be reviewed and audited regularly by any inspecting authority.

The following customers purchase our recycled aggregates and, in doing so, commit to the diversion of that material from landfill and a reduction in their demand for primary aggregates. This commitment is both cost effective and represents a significant carbon saving measure.

We take great pride in the quality of flexible service that we provide to Thames Water, in servicing a number of their projects on sites throughout their operating area.

Sivyer provide waste data returns detailing cradle to grave information regarding Thames Water performance partners. This information is vital to ensure compliance within Environment Agency guidelines. This model has proved successful within our waste business on behalf of Thames Water.
